During my visit home...

I learned that one of my dad's very good friends has been very ill. It is rough knowing that people that you remember being so healthy and energetic, are now for lack of better words, old. Every time I go home to see my parents, I can see a difference. But apparently, "the pirate", the nickname we use for my dad's friend, is really not doing so well. so this drawing is what I came up with while thinking about "the pirate".
